Hello, this is M, the concept-cafe writer.
This time, as the second installment of Kashiwa concept cafes following Moe Quest, I went to the delinquent maid cafe Bar Kurotsuki Kashiwa Store. To be honest, my impression was that I'd come to one heck of a place.
The sign outside is ordinary, like this, but inside it's like this! Amazing, right?! Wait a second?! I panicked a little, thinking, "Did I accidentally come to a cult religion?"
The one-hour charge is 1,100 yen, with drinks at a separate price. It's a one-drink-per-hour system. As long as you keep drinking, you can stay for any number of hours. (Generous!... I think?) And that one drink is bold! It might be hard to tell from the photo, but it's pretty huge, like this! It had so much that if you don't chug it down, one drink might last the whole hour.
Apparently there's also a branch in Yokohama, and there's a "general leader" there. Next time I go to Yokohama, I'll drop by~.
By the way, the worldview is like this. "20XX"... is this Fist of the North S*ar...?
You can do karaoke freely, but since I have no confidence in my singing ability, I paid 600 yen and had a maid sing for me. The girl who took care of me is named Lamu-chan; I thought it was from "rum" (the liquor), but the name's origin was actually Lum-chan from Urusei Yatsura. When I ordered, "Then sing one of Lum's love songs," she said, "I only know the chorus, though..." Hey! By the way, Lamu-chan is apparently a minor. Could I have gone for it if it were the Reiwa-era Urusei Yatsura...?
After much hesitation, the song Lamu-chan ended up singing was Kana Nishino's "The Things I Love About You." The thing I thought while listening to the lyrics... (Huh? Am I being confessed to?) Yikes, I have to leave before I fall for her, so I hurriedly settled the bill, and as I tried to head outside, the exit design, which I couldn't tell from the entrance, was this. Oh, it really is a cult-religion cafe...
That's all from M, the concept-cafe writer!
