Wonder Parlour Cafe
Budget from 2,000 yen. About the maid cafe "Wonder Parlour Cafe": Wonder Parlour Cafe focuses on the domestic servant culture that existed in late-19th-century Victorian England, refining the service of the "parlour maid" (a chambermaid) into a modern form to provide service and hospitality to guests (Classical Maid R).
Referencing historical materials that depict the culture of the era, the cafe recreates the interior, the maid uniforms worn, and the manners of service and hospitality. It adopts the "tea-specialty-shop tea-brewing techniques" that represent the industry's highest standard to offer the finest hospitality.
Separate from regular operation, with the aim of letting guests "enjoy the cosplay culture originating in Akihabara within the wholesome setting of a cafe," irregular cosplay-service events are held a few days each month.
Though it is a small venue with fewer than 20 seats, this was judged to be an appropriate size to provide flawless service and hospitality to guests, and the original floor area and scale of operation from its opening have been maintained to this day.
